Privacy policy

2. Data we process

  • Data you send us via the request form, email or phone: name, company, email, phone, the content of your request and any attachments.
  • Browsing data: technical data collected by the systems running the website (e.g. IP address, browser, pages visited), needed for security and operation.
  • Cookies and analytics tools: see the cookie policy. Non-technical tools are activated only with your consent.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Answering requests for information, quotes and samples: pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Managing the business relationship and administrative and tax obligations: contract and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)).
  • Website security: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Website usage statistics via non-technical cookies: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which can be withdrawn at any time from “Cookie preferences”.

We do not use your data for marketing communications without specific consent.

4. Recipients

Data are processed by authorised Aravec staff and may be disclosed to providers acting as processors: hosting and email provider, website maintenance, administrative and tax advisers, couriers. Data are not disseminated.

5. Transfers outside the EU

Some analytics providers may process data in the United States, on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for participating providers or of the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

6. Retention

  • Requests that do not lead to a business relationship: as long as needed to handle them and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last contact.
  • Data relating to quotes, orders and invoices: 10 years, as required by Italian civil and tax law.

7. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing based on legitimate interest (Arts. 15–21 GDPR), and withdraw consent at any time, by writing to segreteria@aravec.it. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
